Requirements

Those wishing to apply to ABI must be eighteen years of age, a graduate from high school, or have a GED before enrolling.  Students may contact the admissions department to request an application packet or download the application forms located on our "How to Apply" page.  Before being accepted as a student at ABI, we require a completed application packet along with a non-refundable $25.00 application fee.  In addition we require a reference form that is to be filled out by your pastor or an elder in your church, and a reference form from a personal friend or family member.  These reference forms are included in our application packet and must be mailed directly from those filling them out. 

In addition, we require transcripts from high schools or colleges attended within the last five years, and a recent photograph.

Qualified students are admitted on a first-come basis, and will be notified of their acceptance after their paperwork is complete.

Note to international students:
ABI is unable to provide I-20 forms from the Immigration and Naturalization Service, therefore it may be difficult for foreign students to obtain entrance into the U.S. for the purposes of being a student at ABI. Foreign students must meet U.S. immigration requirements before attending.

Alaska Bible Institute is exempt from State of Alaska

authorization requirements under AS 14.48 and 20 AAC 17.
